OLATHE, Kan. – The Central Methodist University competitive dance team earned a fourth place finish at the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championship on Saturday afternoon.
The Envy dance squad entered the final round in fifth place after a hiccup in the preliminary round left them with a score of 72.70. A stellar performance in the final round propelled the squad up one spot to secure the fourth place finish with a final point total of 74.45. Baker won the competition with a final score of 84.31.
Seniors Kadee Dempsey (SR/Columbia, Mo.) and Matt Fohn (SR/Lebanon, Mo.) were recognized as All-Conference selections. A full list of the All-Conference honorees can be found here.
Central is set to return to the floor in its home debut on Sunday, February 23rd, at the CMU Invitational.
