Lincoln, Neb. - The Central Central Methodist Indoor Track & Field program continued indoor competition at the Nebraska Graduate Classic Friday and Saturday in Lincoln, Neb.
On the women's side, Delaney Miller made her collegiate debut in the high jump. The native of Buffalo, Mo. hit the national qualifying 'B' standard with a jump of 1.65 meters.
Freshman Kjirsten Guilford also made her collegiate debut in the 400 meter run, posting a career-best time of 59.71 seconds.
The duo of Karli Wolfe and Baylee Beard both hit personal bests in the weight throw with marks of 15.75 and 15.17 meters respectively. Sophomore Gizel Clayton matched her personal best in the 60 meter dash with a final time of 7.74 seconds, finishing fifth overall.
For the CMU men, senior Mohammed Nyaoga competed in both the 400 and 200 meter dash, running times of 49.86 and 22.33 seconds respectively.
Junior Doriye Jackson posted a sixth place finish in the 600 meter run in a time of 1:23.34. He also competed in the 1000m.
Central will next compete in the Warrior Indoor Invitational and NAIA / JUCO Invitational beginning Friday, Jan. 20.
