Kansas City, Mo. - For the second straight week, Cenral Methodist sophomore thrower Colder Evans was named the Heart Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week. 

The native of Unionville, Mo. competed at the Lincoln University Open this past week, participating in both the discus and hammer throw.

He finished third in the discus with a mark of 49.38m, hitting the NAIA 'A' standard for national qualification. In addition, Evans placed sixth in the hammer throw with a mark of 52.87.
