Wichita, Kan. - The Central Methodist Men's Track and Field program opened the 2024-25 indoor season at the Shocker Multi Invite, hosted by Wichita State University in Wichita, Kan. 

The duo of Ethan Smith and Hunter Mont Cary both took part in the Heptathlon for the Eagles. The competition featured athletes representing Wichita State, Friends, Southern Nazarene, Tabor, and Saint Mary. 

Smith posted a fifth place finish after tallying 4,654 total points. Highlighting the meet for the senior was a new personl best in the long jump at 6.27 meters. 

Carey competed in four of seven events, which included a third place standing in the 60m dash. He did not compete in the final three events.
