Central Methodist University freshman Aubrey Utley (Trenton, Mo.) was selected as the Heart of America Athletic Conference softball pitcher-of-the-week for the second week in a row after winning three games last week.

Utley earned the award Monday after allowing just three earned runs in three complete-game wins last week. She had a five-inning shutout against Shawnee State University (Ohio). Aubrey struck out 22 batters in 19 innings on the week, including a season-high nine strikeouts in a win over Montreat College (N.C.). Utley now has a 9-1 record on the season for Central Methodist and has pitched nine complete games this season.
