NFCA NAIA Coaching Awards

LOUISVILLE, Ky. The Central Methodist softball coaching staff has been named the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) NAIA Midwest Region Coaching Staff of the Year for the second straight season. The staff includes head coach Pat Reardon; assistant coaches Gene Reardon, Ross Dowell, Steve Siebert, Kenya Fuemmeler, Ashley Flemming; and graduate assistants Audrey Crabtree and Kayla Yount.

The Central Methodist staff will be honored Saturday, December 7, at the NFCA Coaching Staff of the Year Brunch during the 2013 NFCA National Convention in San Antonio, Texas.

Central Methodist swept the Heart of America Athletic Conference regular-season (third straight crown) and tournament titles for the second consecutive season. That earned the Eagles a third overall trip to the NAIA National Tournament. The honor marks the second straight year and third time overall that Reardon and his staff have earned the NFCA Midwest Region accolade, having done so previously in 2008 and 2012.
