Central Methodist controlled game one over the Crusaders, outhitting Evangel 11-2. The game was scoreless until the bottom of the third inning, when Addyson Reardon (Boonville, Mo.) and Alyssa Lilly (Wentzville, Mo.) hit back-to-back singles; scoring Reardon for the early 1-0 lead.

Then in the bottom of the fifth inning, Central would strike for three insurance runs, on doubles from Mary Dahl (Altoona, Iowa) and Alyson Fuemmeler (Glasgow, Mo.).

Erin Enke (Martinez, Calif.) was strong in the circle, tossing all seven innings while allowing just two hits, three walks and she struck out five batters to earn her 12th win of the season.

Game two featured a closer ballgame, but had a lot of similarities to game one. Erin Enke took to the circle once again for the Lady Eagles, and picked up yet another victory (13-5) for Central. Enke went all seven innings; for the 12th time this season, allowing five runs; four earned on eight hits with six strikeouts and three walks in the win.

Both defenses struggled in game two, committing three errors each.

Evangel jumped on Enke in the top of the first inning for two runs, and CMU would respond with a run of their own to trail 2-1 after an inning of play.

Following a scoreless second inning, Central tied the game at 2-2 in the bottom of the third inning when Hannah Blackmon (Beaumont, Texas) doubled in Jessie Wilmes (Flint Hill, Mo.).

The Crusaders offense attacked for runs in the fourth and fifth inning, to take a 4-2 lead. The Central offense would then break out for four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning and never look back.

Evangel would make it interesting in the top of the seventh, scoring one and leaving a few runners on base in scoring position; but Erin Enke was able to close the door for the CMU victory.

In game two, Central was led by the 1-2-3-4 hitters of Skyler Hime (Raymore, Mo.), Jessie Wilmes (Flint Hill, Mo.), Lauren Geringer (O'Fallon, Mo.), and Hannah Blackmon, who combined to go 6-for-14 at the plate with two RBI's, five runs scored and two walks.
