With the victories, #21 Central Methodist University improves to 33-13 overall and 15-3 in Heart of America Athletic Conference play. With the losses, William Penn University falls to 19-32 overall, and 6-16 in The Heart.

Following an 11-5 victory in game one, Central Methodist honored their three seniors: Jessie Wilmes (Flint Hill, Mo.), Lauren Geringer (O'Fallon, Mo.), and Haley Kinnison.
�
Senior Haley Kinnison took to the circle in game two, and tossed her best game of the season; a five inning no-hitter. Kinnison struck out five batters in game two, and walked only three. With her fourth strikeout of the day, Kinnison registered her 100th strikeout as an Eagle. She needed only 67 pitches Sunday in the win (13-5) against the Statesmen.

Following a scoreless first inning, the bats came alive for Central Methodist; striking for seven runs in the second inning and another five runs in the third innings. In all, Central pounded out 11 hits and capitalized on three errors by William Penn.

As a team, CMU pounded out five doubles in game two and we led by left fielder Alyssa Lilly (Wentzville. Mo.). Lilly finished a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate, with two doubles, a single, one run scored and five RBI's.

Game one on Sunday feature sloppy defensive play on both sides, as both CMU and William Penn each made four errors a piece. The Eagles outhit William Penn 14-6 and won the game by a final total of 11-5.

Eagles starting pitcher Erin Enke (Martinez, Calif.); fresh off her Saturday no-hitter, tossed all seven innings in the win (16-5). Enke allowed six hits, five runs; only one was earned with eight strikeouts and three walks.

Offensively in game two, Central received a lot of help from their 1-2 hitters of Skyler Hime (Raymore, Mo.) and Jessie Wilmes. The two combined to finish 6-for 8 at the plate, with four runs scored, four RBI's, one double, one homerun, and two stolen bases.

Central Methodist closes out the home portion of their regular season schedule on Tuesday afternoon, with a non-conference doubleheader against William Woods University. First pitch is scheduled for 5pm from the Cox Softball Complex.
