Louisville, Ky. - The NFCA revealed 37 student-athletes from 26 different institutions have been voted 2021 NFCA NAIA All-Americans, the Association announced on Monday afternoon. 

Senior outfielder Kelli Gorman earned First Team All-America honors for the first time in her career. She appeared and started in 56 games in left field for CMU, leading the team with a .411 batting average, and 22 home runs. She tied the single-season program record for hits (78) and drove in a team-leading 82 runs along with 14 doubles. Gorman led the nation in home runs (22), total bases (166), and RBI (82). This season, Gorman was tabbed as the Heart Player of the Year and a first-team all-conference performer for her efforts. She also earned Heart Player of the Week honors on two different occasions.

Keighlan Cronin was tabbed as a Second Team All-American after a stellar 2021 campaign. She was a force on the mound as the Heart Pitcher of the Year finished the season with a 27-3 overall record, a 1.31 earned run average, and 250 strikeouts. She set program records in single-season wins (27), strikeouts (250), and shutouts (14) as Central's ace. Cronin was also ranked No. 5 nationally in wins, opposing batting average (0.162), and hits allowed/nine innings (4.01). She was named the Heart Pitcher of the Week four times.

NFCA All-Region and All-American athletes must be nominated by their NFCA-member head coach, are voted for by the coaches in their region or division, and ultimately selected by elected All-American committee members to receive this prestigious accolade. These honorees are in the top 1% of student-athletes competing during the 2021 season.  All special awards are also selected by the All-American committee members or by the entire division.
