Kansas City, Mo. - Thirteen members of the Central Methodist Softball program were named Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes by the national office this week.
Representing Central Methodist are; Daly Garland, Natalie Guerrero, Breanna Hollowell, Katelyn Kiser, Abbie Marshall, Kelena Oots, Kaylee Parker, Montana Stangel, Madison White, Kylie Avery, Carolyne Corbett, Haley Martin, and Aspen Odom.
The group are apart of 1,131 student-athletes from across the country to earn the recognition.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
