Kansas City, Mo. - Central Methodist junior pitcher Haley Cotter was recognized as the Pitcher of the Week in the Heart of America Athletic Conference, as announced Monday.
Cotter picked up two weekend victories for CMU in Gulf Shores, Alabama as part of the Gulf Shores Invitational.
In her two outings, she posted a 0.62 ERA, allowing just two earned runs while striking out seven.
The Smithville, Missouri native also went the distance, throwing a complete game in the seven inning shutout victory over Thomas University
The Eagles currently hold a 13-3 record and are on a nine game winning streak.
They will return to action Wednesday, March 12, traveling to Walnut Ridge, Arkansas to take on Williams Baptist.
