Overland Park, Kan. - For the first time this season, Central Methodist senior Joely Crider was named the Heart of America Softball Player of the Week by the conference office.
Crider led the No. 8 Eagles to a perfect 4-0 record at the Branson Bash Classic this past weekend.
The native of Eagle, Idaho, finished the week with six hits in 13 at-bats, including a double and a pair of home runs, for a .462 batting average. Additionally, Crider drove in six RBI.
Central returns to action in the NAIASB Invitational beginning Friday, Feb. 20, in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
