Louisville, Ken. - Six members of the Central Methodist Softball program were recognized as NFCA All-Region V selections by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
Senior Joely Crider and freshman Emma King were both named to the first team, while Karlie Barnum, Elizabeth Palumbo, Madison Roberts, and Kaysie Jolley each earned second team honors.
Crider played in all 57 games for the Eagles in her final season. The native of Eagle, Idaho posted career-bests in numerous offensive categories including; hits (78), doubles (22), home runs (six), batting average (.426), on base percentage (.521), and slugging percentage (.667).
She was named Heart Player of the Week on February 11th and was named the Heart All-Conference First Team for the fourth-straight year. She finishes her career as a four-time All-Region selection and a three-time First Team honoree.
King was a welcome addition to Central's batting lineup in 2026. As a first-year member of the program, King was named the Heart Freshman of the Year and a First Team All-Conference selection.
She finished her debut season batting .442 with a .693 slugging percentage, recording 11 doubles and 10 home runs. King drove in 56 RBI and scored 28 runs across 54 games. Defensively, King totaled 100 chances with a .980 fielding percentage, proving to be a key contributor both at the plate and in the field.
Barnum, a freshman from Boise, Idaho, compiled a 17-3 record across 23 starts this season. She pitched 126 innings with a 3.28 ERA and 75 strikeouts, including nine complete games. Barnum was also named to the Heart All-Conference Second Team.
Palumbo concludes her career as a three-time NFCA NAIA All-Region selection. The native of Morrison, Illinois appeared in all 57 games for the Eagles, batting .415 with 20 doubles, three triples, and eight home runs.
She drove in 53 RBI while drawing 24 walks and earned Heart First Team All-Conference honors for the third-straight year.
Roberts concludes her time with the Eagles as a three-time NFCA All-Region selection. She played in 52 games for the Eagles, primarily at shortstop. The senior from Elkhart, Illinois batted .370 with 57 hits, including 13 doubles and three home runs. She drove in 34 RBI, scored 35 runs and was named to the Heart All-Conference Second Team.
Jolley rounds out the All-Region selections for the Eagles and is now a four-time All-Region selection. The senior from Nampa, Idaho appeared in all 57 games for Central in the outfield. Offensively, Jolley recorded 73 hits, including 17 doubles and four triples, while driving in 33 RBI.
On the basepaths, she swiped a career-best 16 stolen bases and batted .395 with a .611 slugging percentage. Defensively, Jolley posted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage, recording 68 putouts and nine assists on 77 total chances. She was named to the Heart All-Conference First Team and earned a spot on the Gold Glove team.
As a team, the Eagles finished the year with a 40-17 overall record, and secured their fourth Heart Tournament title in the last five seasons. Additionally, Central qualified for the NAIA Opening Round for the sixth straight year.
