Salina, Kan. - The No. 18 Central Methodist Women's Soccer team drew the Kansas Wesleyn Coyotes Saturday afternoon in Salina, Kansas.
Central now stands at 1-1-1, while KWU is 1-0-1.
CMU finished the game with 10 total shots, including four shots on goal. Junior forward Mariana Barreto led the way for the offense with six shots taken, with three being on goal.
Kansas Wesleyn finished the day with six shots and three coming on frame.
Amber Bennett earned her second clean sheet of the year, recording two saves in a full 90 minutes between the posts.
CMU will travel to Sioux City, Iowa where they will face Briar Cliff University for their final non-conference game of the year Wednesday, Sept. 3 at 1:00 p.m.
