Topeka, Kan. - The Central Methodist Track and Field program competed in their final indoor regular season meet this past weekend at the Washburn Open in Topeka, Kansas.
Highlighting the weekend were three more Eagles who punched their ticket to the indoor national championships.
Allena Rowland punched her ticket to nationals in the 400m dash, running a new personal best of 57.46 seconds in the event.
Parys Smith joined Rowland as a national qualifier, running a time of 8.80 seconds in the 60m hurdles, also a new personal best.
Dayana Montenegro hit the 'B' standard in both the 600 yard run and 400, running times of 1:25.90 and 56.67 respectively.
Brayton Stephenson posted a fourth place finish in the shotput with a toss of 16.50 meters.
Central will turn its attention to the Heart Indoor Conference Championships, set to begin Friday, Feb. 14 in Maryville, Mo.
