Kansas City, Mo. - After a stellar showing at this past weekend's Heart Outdoor Conference Championships, Central Methodist junior sprinter Zakiya Porter was named the Heart Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Meet. 

Porter, a native of Fulton, Missouri helped the CMU Women to a share of the 2025 Conference Championship, which was held on the Fayette campus at Davis Field and Hairston Track. 

She took home gold in three different events including the 100m dash (11.71), 200m dash (24.40) and the 4x100m relay (46.54). 

In the 100m dash, Porter not only set a new school record in the event, but also a conference championship record. 

She was also apart of the 4x100m relay team that set both a school and conference championship record.
