Marion, Ind. - Nine members of the Central Methodist Women's Track and Field program will represent the Eagles at the 2025 NAIA Women's Outdoor Track and Field National Championships this coming week on the campus of Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana.
The three-day event will run from Wednesday, May 21, through Friday, May 23.
The CMU women will be represented by Haley Bellamy (High Jump & Heptathlon), Aroa Carballo (400m Hurdles), Renee Finke (High Jump), Diane Ondobo (400m Dash), Zakiya Porter (100m & 200m Dash), Allena Rowland (400m Dash), Parys Smith (100m Hurdles), and Joana Vakasobuduru (Javelin).
Additionally, the 4x100m relay (Porter, Vakasobuduru, Smith, Ondobo & Zyaire Robinson) and the 4x400m relay teams (Ondobo, Vakasobuduru, Carballo, Rowland & Bellamy) will also compete for the Eagles.
Bellamy and Finke both have experience in outdoor championships. Bellamy competed at the 2024 championships, while Finke competed in 2024 and 2023.
Finke is Central's returning Outdoor All-American, having earned All-America honors in the Heptathlon (fifth) and High Jump (1st) in 2024.
Finke's school record jump of 1.77 meters, which won the program's first national championship since 2004, highlighted the championship last year.
Bellamy is in the Top 10 national rankings in both the High Jump (6th) and Heptathlon (6th). The 4x400m relay team is also ranked sixth entering this week's championships.
Competition is set to start this Wednesday, May 21, with the Heptathlon beginning at 9:30 a.m. (CT)
