Fayette, Mo. - Nine members of the Central Methodist Men's and Women's Track & Field program earned CSC Academic All-District honors earlier this week.
For the women, CMU was represented by Haley Bellamy, Renee Finke, Karli Wolfe, Allena Rowland, and Emma Paninka. The men saw Kyle Newberry, Brayton Stephenson, Colder Evans, and Grant Engel recognized.
The 2025 Academic All-District Men's & Women's Track & Field teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track, in the field, and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's and women's track & field honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
To be nominated for the All-District Team, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, be a starter or important reserve, and hold at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average at their current institution.
Six of the nine athletes recognized earned NAIA All-America honors this year during either indoor or outdoor nationals, which included two national championships for Stephenson in the men's indoor and outdoor shotput.
Academic All-District honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced July 15, 2025 (women) and July 16, 2025 (men).
