Fayette, Mo. - Central Methodist Director of Track & Field/Cross Country Kenny Anderson was named the 2026 Heart Women's Indoor Coach of the Year following a dominant performance by the Eagles at the Heart Indoor Track & Field Championships this past weekend in Maryville, Missouri.
Anderson guided the Eagles to their fourth Heart Women's Indoor Championship in the last five years, as Central tallied 201 total points to secure the team title. The Eagles also crowned seven individual conference champions.
The 2026 honor marks Anderson's fifth career Heart of America Women's Indoor Coach of the Year award (2021, 2022, 2023, 2025 & 2026), further cementing his place among the conference's elite leaders.
His sustained success extends beyond the indoor season, as he has earned numerous conference and regional accolades across both men's and women's programs.
Anderson and the Eagles will turn their attention to the NAIA Indoor National Championships March 5-7 in Gainesville, Florida.
