McPherson, Kan. - The (RV) Central Methodist Volleyball program began day one of the McPherson Invitational Thursday evening in McPherson, Kansas.
Central fell to the No. 9 nationally ranked McPherson College by scores of 25-13, 25-21, and 25-19.
Central struggled offensively against the Bulldogs, hitting just .090 with 21 attacking errors. McPherson, on the other hand, finished with a .289 hitting percentage and only 11 errors.
Senior Hailey Dreier led the team in hitting with a perfect game of four kills on four attempts. Following Dreier was Lakeland College transfer, Luciana Araujo, hitting at a clip of .286.
Sophomore setter, Mariah Bostic-Jones, dished out 14 assists followed by junior Jazmine Srun with 12.
The Eagles continue the weekend with a Friday morning matchup against Tabor College. First serve is set for 9:00 a.m.
