Kansas City, Mo. - Central Methodist University senior runner Radovan Kemboi was named this week's Heart Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week, announced by the conference office Monday. 

Kemboi and the Eagles competed in the Benedictine Raven Challenge this past Friday in Atchison, Kan., the final regular season meet of the fall. The Eldoret, Kenya native posted a fourth place finish in the men's 8k with a final time of 26:29, good enough to finish in front of 66 other runners. 

Overall, Kemboi helped propel his team to a third place finish at the event. 

Kemboi and the Eagles will next compete in the Heart Championships Saturday, Nov. 6 at 11:00 a.m. in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
