Columbia, Mo. - The Central Methodist Women's and Men's Cross Country programs continued their seasons at the Larry Young Invitational Friday night.
The meet took place at Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia, Missouri.
The CMU Women placed sixth out of the 11 full teams that ran, finishing the night with 202 points.
Lili-Rose Breheret led the Eagles with a 16th place finish out of 107 runners in the 5K, crossing the line in a time of 21:23.41.
Sadie Burchett ran a time of 22:26.80 to place 39th.
Ali Gutierrez (46th - 22:36.54), Allena Rowland (53rd - 23:06.75), Tanaja Bledsoe (87th - 26:25.05) and Ava Wilson (99th - 31:06.19) also ran for the Eagles.
The men's 8K was represented by three Eagles in Randy Rojas Mendez (75th - 30:02.76), Tristan Hickman (84th - 30:39.31) and Meshack Kiptanui (95th - 32:12.47).
Both teams will next compete in the Mike Spielman Classic, hosted by Baker University Friday, Oct. 17 in Baldwin City, Kansas.
