Kansas City, Mo. - After dominating the Heart Outdoor Conference Championships this past weekend, the coaching duo of Kenny Anderson and Tevin Riddle earned Coach of the Year honors from the conference office this week.
Anderson was named the Heart Men's Outdoor Coach of the Year, while Riddle earned Assistant Coach of the Year honors.
It mark's Coach Anderson's eighth coach of the year honor during his time with the Eagles. He was previously named Women's Indoor Coach of the Year (2021, 2022, 2023, 2025), Women's Outdoor Coach of the Year (2021 & 2023), and Men's Outdoor Coach of the Year (2024).
This year's award comes off the heels of the program winning their second straight Heart Men's Outdoor Conference Championship.
Central won the men's championship with 196 total points, 85 points better than second-place Benedictine and 97 points above third-place Park University.
Altogether, Anderson coached 15 individual conference champions in nine different events.
Coach Riddle was named Assistant Coach of the Year for the first time in his career. At the outdoor conference championships, Riddle coached Heart Champions in the high jump (Harvey Sayon), and triple jump (Azaan Stoughtenborough).
