Caitlyn Davis Named Heart Women's Wrestler of the Week for Second Time

Kansas City, Mo. - For the second time this season, Central Methodist freshman Cailtyn Davis was tabbed as the Heart Women's Wrestler of the Week by the conference office Monday.

Davis, the No. 1 wrestler in the country at 155 pounds, posted a 5-0 record at the highly competitive NWCA National Duals this past weekend in Louisville, Ken.

The native of Hilton Head Island, S.C. picked up dual victories over the No. 18, No. 16, and No. 7 wrestlers in the NAIA at 155 pounds, and a win over No. 6 at 143-pounds. Three of her five victories came via a 10-0 Tech Fall.

As a team, the Eagles posted a ninth place standing at the Duals.

Davis and the Eagles are set to host Iowa Wesleyan University Tuesday, Jan. 10 at 5:30 p.m. inside Puckett Field House.
