WARRENSBURG, Mo. - The Central Methodist men's cross country team finished ninth out of 10 teams at the Mule Relays, hosted by Central Missouri on Saturday.

Austin Jones led the Eagles, placing 59th overall in the 6,400 meter race in a time of 23:21.27. Luke Pelton was second on the squad, crossing the finish line 67th overall in 23:28.99. Jasper Bunton and Doug Hutcherson recorded times of 23:31.78 and 23:31.84, respectively. Gage Lemmon rounded out the top five finishers for the Green and Black with a time of 24:12.58. Alan Adams was the final finisher for Central Methodist, scoring a finish time of 24:22.47.

Kaitlyn Loeffler was the lone competitior for Central Methodist in Saturday's women's 4k. She finished 94th overall in a time of 18:01.18.

The Eagles participate in the Missouri Southern Stampede on Saturday, Sept. 21, at 8 a.m. CT.
