Cedar Rapids, Iowa - The Central Methodist Women's Cross Country team concluded the 2025 season at the Heart of America Championships on Saturday in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. 

The race was held at Seminole Valley Park and featured 121 runners across the 14 Heart programs. 

CMU finished in 10th place as a team with 262 total points. 

Ali Gutierrez was Central's highest finisher, placing 36th in the 6K with a time of 23:23.8. Sadie Burchett was the next Eagle to cross the finish line in a time of 23:59.6 for a 50th place finish. 

Lili-Rose Breheret (75th - 25:32.8), Allena Rowland (80th - 25:44.3), Maria Burgos (84th - 25:45.5) and Tanaja Bledsoe (98th - 26:30.3) also ran for the Eagles.
