KANSAS CITY - Central Methodist junior Emily Nealley and sophomore Megan Greener are headed to Rim Rock Farm, as the field is set for the 35th annual NAIA Women's Cross Country National Championship on Saturday, Nov. 22, at 10:30 a.m. CT. Thirty-seven teams and 84 individuals will compete for the team and individual national titles in a 5k race in Lawrence, Kan., the national office announced.

Nealley, from Gravois Mills, Mo., is making her third-straight appearance on the national stage, while Greener, from Kansas City, is making her first.

Nealley led the Eagles' finishers across the line at the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championship last Saturday, placing fifth overall in the 5k race in a time of 18:55.81. Greener was eighth after crossing the finish line in 19:18.33. �

With the National Championship being held at Rim Rock Farm for the first time last season, Nealley finished 139th, posting a time of 19:29.92.�

The championship is made up of 22 conferences; association of independent institutions and unaffiliated grouping champions; two conference, association of independent institutions, and unaffiliated grouping runners-ups; a host bid [Ottawa (Kan.)]; and 11 at-large selections. Additionally, 84 individuals will also compete at the National Championship.
