Charlotte, N.C. Central Methodist University senior Emily Nealley (Gravois Hills, Mo.) represented the Lady Eagles cross country team Saturday at the 2015 NAIA Cross Country National Championship in Charlotte, North Carolina. Nealley finished in 158^th place out of 321 individual runners with a total time of 19:27.2 in the women's 5K race.

Nealley finishes her cross country career at Central Methodist University by qualifying for Nationals all four years. As a freshman, Nealley and her teammates qualified as a team for Nationals. The last three years, she has qualified as an individual and competed at Nationals. Last year at Rim Rock in Lawrence, Kansas, Nealley finished 90^th overall.

The Heart of America Athletic Conference sent the conference champion team of Benedictine College to Nationals this year, along with the top six individual finishers from the Conference Championship. Those six were Nealley (158^th place), Kaylee Shanley (113^th place) and Halley Dean (252^nd) from MidAmerica Nazarene, Emily Perona (250^th) from Evangel, Sarah Hollis (234^th place) from Baker and Lauren Block (243^rd) from Clarke. As a team, Benedictine College finished in 20^th place out of 35 total schools.
