FAYETTE, Mo. ---- The Central Methodist women's cross country team finished fourth in the Eagle Invite at the Fayette Golf Course Saturday morning.
Newcomer Lisa Sauter once again led Central Methodist in the event with a 12th place finish, and a total time of 20:11 in the 5K. Following behind her was Shannon Feurt who finished in 26th with a total time of 21:59.
Abby Cross, (28, 22:19), Camrie Feinberg (39, 23:21), and Amanda Steinman (56, 27:19) finished the top-five for the Eagles.
The team finished in fourth out of the six teams present at the event, with Central Missouri winning the event with an average time of 19:41. Central Missouri placed five runners in the top ten to take the event.
Micheala Hylen from Truman won the event with a total time of 18:58.
The Eagles will return to action on Friday, September 22nd, when they travel to Rock Island, Ill. to compete in the Brissman-Lundeen Invite. The meet is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
