Sauter Paced Women's Cross Country At Brissman-Lundeen Invite

Rock Island, IL. - The Central Methodist women's cross country team had four individual runners to compete in the Brissman-Lundeen Invite Friday evening.

Lisa Sauter (FR/Schefflenz, Germany) paced the Eagles with a seventh place finish for a time of 21:14. Abby Cross (JR/Osborn, Mo.) placed 22nd with a time of 21:25 to place in the top 25. Shannon Feurt (SR/Garden City, Mo.) (41st, 22:16) and Camrie Fienberg (56th, 22:55) were the final two finishers for the Eagles.

Simpson College won the Brissman-Lundeen Invite and Partricia Harrison of Moody Bible Institute won the race with a time of 18:54.

The Eagles will return to action on Saturday, October 7th, when they compete in the Gary Stone Invitational at the Fayette Golf Course. Race time is schedule to start at 10:30am.
