Fayette, Mo. - Senior Lisa Sauter took home this week's Heart of America Athletic Conference women's runner of the week honor, as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon. 

The senior from Schefflenz, Germany placed second at the Columbia College Invite Saturday morning out of a field of 76 runners with a time of 19:31.35. The second-place finish was the highest of any individual from the Heart of America Athletic Conference. As a team, the Central Methodist women would go on to finish in sixth place. 

The Eagles will next race at the NAIA Seminole Valley Invite Saturday, Oct. 10 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
