Ashland, Neb. - The Central Methodist Women's Cross Country team concluded regular season competition at the NAIA Blazing Tiger Classic Saturday morning in Ashland, Neb.
The field featured more than 300 runners representing 27 different schools from around the country.
Additionally, the field included six teams ranked in the NAIA Top 25 and six that are receiving votes.
As a team, Central posted a 16th place finish, with Tara Ozinga leading the way with a time of 23:11.83 to place 45th in the 6K.
Ali Guitierez followed, crossing the finish line in 107th place in 24:26.64. Morgan Waltmire (121st - 24:38.01), Ella Strehlow (24:41.27), and Molly Milazzo (183rd - 25:39.09) also ran for CMU.
The Eagles will turn their attention to the postseason, beginning with the Heart Conference Championship, Saturday, Nov. 9 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
