Hannibal, Mo. - The Central Methodist University men's golf team concluded the 2020 fall season with a 1st place finish at the Trojan Fall Tri-Match Saturday morning at the Norwoods Golf Course in Hannibal, Missouri.
Central won the three-team tournament which included 21 golfers from CMU, host Hanibal LaGrange, and Culver-Stockton College. The course featured a par 72 and 6629 total yards. The Eagles shot a one-round total of 314, followed by Culver-Stockton College (338), the Central Methodist reserve team (357), and Hanibal LaGrange (359).
Freshman Aaron Teece came in second place with a round total of 75, just one stroke back from the top spot. Trace Brown finished tied for third, firing a single round of 79, while Matias Baccola and Nzelu Maitha each tied for fifth respectively with scores of 80. Marcel Alexander Lemmer, Zach Maggart, and Owen Stubblefield all landed in the top-10 as well.
Mariano Mauri of Hanibal LaGrange won the individual title with a score of 74. For the complete list of CMU results, please see below.
