Smithville, Mo. - The Central Methodist Men's Golf program competed in the Heart of America Conference Preview, which took place Monday and Tuesday at the Paradise Pointe Golf Complex in Smithville, Missouri.
The 10-team field featured the following Heart programs; Baker, Central Methodist, Clarke, Culver-Stockton, Graceland, MidAmerica Nazarene, Missouri Valley, Mount Mercy, Park, and William Penn.
Altogether there were 53 golfers.
As a team, Central posted an eighth place finish with a two-round score of 661.
Cylas Worley was Central's highest individual finisher, tying for 22nd with a score of 161. Brayden Loftin tied for 32nd with a score of 166, followed by Carter Jackson, who tied for 35th with a score of 168.
Keenan James and John Howle rounded out Central's team, eaching finishing in a tie for 38th with scores of 171.
CMU will conclude fall competition at the second iteration of the William Woods Fall Invitational beginning Monday, Oct. 27 at 9:00 a.m. in Fulton, Mo.
