Silvis, Ill. - The Central Methodist men's golf team concluded their season at the 2022 NAIA Men's Golf National Championships Tuesday at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill.
The 70th annual event featured 29 teams and 155 total golfers.
CMU finished the championship with a two round total of 591, just four strokes back from making the final cut for rounds three and four.
From an individual standpoint, sophomore Aaron Teece was the top finisher for the Eagles as he shot rounds of 72 and 73 for a score of 145, tying for 48th. The duo of Matias Baccola and Cade Basson were three strokes back from Teece with identical scores of 148.
Tomas Lopez Mazzalay and Tiago Swart rounded out the Eagle golfers, with score of 150 and 157 respectively.
