FRANKFORT, Ky. The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced Monday that Central Methodist's�Chelsea Pannier,�Kaitlyn Klapperich,�Morgan Vetter,Alison Durst�and�Nakia Robinson�are among 128 Division I Women's Basketball student-athletes that have been named 2014 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
The Eagles rank second in the country with five selections.�James Arnold's group has led the Heart of America Athletic Conference for three-straight years and has ranked in the top two in the nation during that stretch.
Pannier is a junior guard from Cape Girardeau, Mo. Klapperich is a junior guard from Wasilla, Alaska. Vetter, a junior guard, hails from Salisbury, Mo. Durst is a senior guard from Appleton City, Mo. Robinson is a senior guard from Saint Louis, Mo.
Cumberlands (Ky.) and Rocky Mountain (Mont.) lead all institutions with six individuals on the list.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.
