Vetter named NAIA HM All-American

Vetter named NAIA HM All-American
KANSAS CITY - Central Methodist junior guard Morgan Vetter has been named to the 2013-14 NAIA Division I Women's Basketball All-America honorable mention team, announced Wednesday from the NAIA office.

Vetter, voted to the WBCA NAIA Coaches' honorable mention All-America Team on March 18, was named the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) Newcomer of the Year and a first-team selection this season.

In her first season starring for the Green and Black, Vetter led the country in 3-point field goals made per game (4.097) and treys made (127) while also setting a new single-season school record for three-pointers made. The Salisbury, Mo., native ranked fifth in Division I in 3-point field goal percentage (0.452), 26th in assist/turnover ratio (1.833) and 49th in field goal percentage (0.439).

Players were selected by the NAIA-Women's Basketball Coaches' Association All-America Committee, with each teamfirst, second and thirdconsisting of 11 members.

There were six repeat selections from last year's All-America teams.
