Hines has been a four-year student-athlete for Shawnee Mission South High School in Overland Park, Kan.
"I have quite a few family members that attended CMU, so I was so excited to get the opportunity to carry that tradition on and play basketball," Hines said. "This is a program that has some really good opportunities in the next couple years, and it would have been hard to pass up being a part of it."
Arnold admits Hines had been on his radar for quite some time and expects immediate contributions from the guard that can also play small forward.
"Allison�will give us tremendous flexibility," the third-year Eagles' coach said. "She is a long guard who can slide down and play some stretch four if we want to go small. Allison is a deceivingly good athlete who has the ability to score in bunches and can defend multiple positions."

Hines averaged�11.2 points 3.7 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game as a senior for the Raiders. A team captain, she was named All-Conference and honorable mention All-State for the 2013-14 season. Hines was also named to the Sideline Sports Missouri/Kansas All-Star Team.
Hines was named All-Conference as a junior for the girls' basketball team and played softball for the Raiders as a freshman.
Hines plays AAU basketball for MoKan Eclipse.
Off the court, Hines was tabbed a Kansas City Star Scholar-Athlete, Kansas Honors Scholar and is a member of the National Honors Society. She is the�Student Council Committee Chair. For four years, Hines has been on the Honor Roll and a Scholarship Pin recipient. She ranks in the top 10 percent of her graduating class.
Hines joins�former Raider�Taylor McDowell, who most recently played at Johnson County Community College, as commits to the Eagles for next season along with�Jacquelyn Caravella and Cassidy Cotton.
Central Methodist finished last season 22-9 overall and 12-6 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference.
