LAMONI, Iowa – The No. 9-ranked Central Methodist University women's basketball program secured a convincing 112-65 victory over Graceland in a road contest on Saturday afternoon.
The Eagles used an 18-4 run in the opening frame to build an early 15 point lead in the first quarter. A strong 33-12 performance in the second frame gave Central a hefty 63-29 lead at the half. Graceland outscored CMU by two points in the third quarter, but the squad bounced back with a commanding 31-16 showing in the final frame to close out the win.
Thirteen different Eagles were able to record at least one shot in the contest, led by Sam Caruth (SR/Las Vegas, Nev.) posted a career-high of 19 points off the bench after knocking down five shots from long range. Caruth was followed by Crimson Jones (SR/Flora, Ill.), who notched 18 points after an 11-12 showing from the free throw line, and a 17 point performance from Lanay Rodney (SR/Peekskill, N.Y.).

- The Eagles forced a whopping 43 turnovers on the night while nabbing 23 steals
