Kansas City, Mo. - After another strong outing this past week, Central Methodist sophomore forward Leah Johnson was tabbed as the Heart Women's Basketball Player of the Week by the conference office Monday. 

It marks the second-straight week Johnson has been recognized. 

The native of Ewing, N.J. again averaged a double-double with 16 points and 14.5 rebounds/game. Against Missouri Valley Saturday, Johnson recorded 22 points and 19 rebounds. She also added three blocks victory over the Vikings.

Johnson and the Eagles will next travel to Springfield to face the Evangel Valor Monday, Jan. 16 at 5:30 p.m.
