Kansas City, Mo. - Central Methodist freshman guard Nautica Washington was named a Heart Third Team All-Conference selection by the conference office Friday.
The native of Columbia, Missouri appeared in 28 games with 22 starts for the Eagles in her first season. She led Central in scoring, averaging 12.4 points/game and tallied 20 or more points on four occassions.
Washington's best performance came against Clarke in Dubuque, where she dropped a career-best 26 points.
Additionally, she averaged 3.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.9 steals/game. Altogether, Washington scored 335 total points in her first season.
