Boonville, Mo. - The Central Methodist women's golf program opened the 2022 fall season with a second place finish at the CMU Fall Invitational Monday at Hail Ridge Golf Course in Boonville, Mo.
The women's tournament featured 47 golfers from six different institutions including; CMU, Columbia College, William Woods, Missouri Baptist, Missouri Valley College, and Coffeyville Community College.
Central placed second with a final team score of 682. Columbia College won the event with a final score of 666, while William Woods placed third with a total of 711.
Four of Central's top five golfers finished in the Top 10, led by Alea Andrade who tied for third with a score of 170. Sarah Krenowicz earned a fifth place standing with a two round total of 171. Hailey Richard (6, 172) and Mechelle Vermillion (T9, 174) also landed in the Top 10.
Central will next compete in the William Woods Invitational, beginning Monday Sept. 19 in Tanglewood Golf Course in Fulton, Mo.
