Fulton, Mo. - The Central Methodist women's golf program earned a second place standing at the William Woods Fall Invitational Tuesday in Fulton, Mo. 

The tournament was comprised of 37 golfers from five different schools including, Central Methodist, Columbia College, Cottey College, Williams Baptist and host school William Woods. 

CMU placed second with a final team score 641. Columbia College won the team title with a score of 621. William Woods University finished third with a score of 693. 

Overall, Central placed four Eagles in the Top 10. 

Highlighting the event for CMU was senior Alea Andrade, who fired rounds of 80 and 76 for a total score of 156. Her final score was good enough to earn Andrade a tie for second place. 

Mechelle Vermillion placed fifth with a final score of 159, followed by Sarah Krenowicz who tied for sixth with a two-round score of 161. Hailey Richard tied for 10th (165) and Hope Chappel rounded out Central's five golfers with a score of 178. 

Central will next compete in the Columbia College Cougar Classic Oct. 3-4 in Columbia, Mo.
