Columbia, Mo. - The Central Methodist Women's Golf program posted a second place finish at the Columbia College Spring Invitational Monday in nearby Columbia, Mo.
The event featured 23 golfers represented by three different universities.
Central finished the day with a single round team score of 335. Host Columbia College won the tournament with a score of 323.
CC's B team team finished third with a score of 356, while Des Moines Community College placed fourth with a score of 374.
Freshman Mechelle Vermillion landed in the top 10, placing sixth with a single round score of 80. Sarah Krenowicz finished eighth with a score of 84, while Logan Allen tied for ninth at 85.
Hailey Richard, Riley Burns, and Alea Andrade also competed for the Eagles.
Central will next compete in the William Woods Spring Invitational beginning Monday, March 27 in Fulton, Mo.
