St. Charles, Mo. - The Central Methodist men's and women's bowling programs competed at the 17th annual Lions Match Play Classic this past weekend in St. Charles, Mo. 

The varsity and jv men each qualified fifth for bracket play in their respective divisions. For the varsity men, the Eagles were led by Adrian Wright and Lane Hook, who each placed 19th and 24th, respectively. 

For the JV men, the Eagles were led by Jordan Shepard and Cole Clayton, who finished 17th and 20th place, respectively. 

The CMU women also qualified with a fifth-place standing in bracket play, and were led individually by Kathryn Chappell and Emma Kitchens.

Both the varsity men and women were eliminated in bracket play after two matches. 

Central will next compete in the Leatherneck Classic beginning Saturday, Nov. 8, at St. Charles Lanes in St. Charles, Mo.
