Glasgow, Mo. - The Central Methodist Women's Bowling program hosted its first-ever home tournament, the Mid-Missouri Invitational, Friday at Glasgow Lanes in Glasgow, Missouri.
The Eagles were joined by Cottey College from Nevada, Missouri, and the University of Central Missouri.
Central finished third at the conclusion of the five-team games format after knocking down 3,428 total pins. Cottey came in second with 3,448 pins, while UCM won the tournament after knocking down 4,114 pins.
CMU's best game was in game two with a score of 778.
Two of Central's individuals placed in the top five of the event, as Savannah Rutar placed fourth and Alexis Livesay fifth.
Rutar finished her five games with an average of 161 pins/game (805 total), while Livesay averaged 155.8 pins/game (779).
The Eagles are currently competing in the Columbia Cougar Clash to conclude weekend tournament play in Columbia.
