CMU Women's Bowling Returns to Action at Cedar Valley Invite

Waterloo, Iowa - The Central Methodist Women's Bowling program returned to tournament action for the first time in 2026 at the Cedar Valley Invite Sunday in Waterloo, Iowa. 

As a team, the Eagles finished 14th in the qualifying standings with a final score of 4,000. 

Individually, freshman Kathryn Chappell was Central's highest finisher, placing 34th after bowling a three-game total of 558. Savannah Rutar followed with a 53rd place finish and bowling 530 through three games. 

Alexis Livesay (68th - 494), Alayna Abernathy (97th - 391), and Engelle Milo (110th - 310) also bowled for the Eagles. 

Central will next compete in the NAIA West Open beginning Saturday, Feb. 7 at 9:00 a.m. in Topeka, Kan.
