Central Methodist University senior Bradley Carter (El Cajon, Calif.) has been named this week's Heart of America Athletic Conference football special teams player-of-the-week after a big day on punt returns in CMU's 34-10 win over Peru State College.

Carter finished with 100 yards on four punt returns in the game. Early in the fourth quarter, Carter received a punt at the CMU 32-yard line and returned it 68 yards for a touchdown. Carter's touchdown extended Central Methodist's lead to 27-10 at that time and put the Eagles in control of the game.
