Daytona Beach, Fla. �The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced Friday that 312 football student-athletes have been named 2015 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Carroll (Mont.) led all institutions with 14 individuals on the list.

Among the 312, was Central Methodist University junior offensive lineman Remington Slama (Springfield, Mo.).�

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.
