"I have established relationships with all five of these men and they are really good people," said CMU head football coach David S. Calloway. "They all have great qualities about them and they have familiarity and a vested interest in the university. They either received their undergraduate degree, their graduate degree, or they have worked here before; which is very important for the success of our program."
Caleb Haynes will enter his third season in 2016 as a full-time assistant for the Eagles, after serving two years as a graduate assistant. Haynes played running back at Central Methodist from 2008 until 2011.
Miguel Paredes enters his sixth season on the staff at CMU, since rejoining the Eagles back in 2011. Prior to re-joining Central Methodist, Paredes was an Assistant Athletic Director for two years at Texas A&M-Kingsville. Paredes served as a graduate assistant at CMU from 2006-09, and received his Master's degree in Education from Central Methodist in 2010.
Kaleb Borghardt enters his second season as an assistant coach at Central Methodist. Borghardt played football and did his undergraduate studies at Central Methodist University prior to joining the coaching staff. As a player, he was a four-time letter winner, voted as a team captain and was named BSN National Player of the Week.
Along with the three full-time assistants, graduate assistants Conner White and Thomas 'TJ' McBroom have also be retained for the 2016 season.
The search is still currently being conducted to find an offensive and defensive coordinator. There also remains one more opening for another graduate assistant coach.
